The People's Voice.Our Future.
Sibanye (We Are One) exists to listen to the people, understand what our communities need and ensure that those needs are represented where decisions are made.
Nelson Mandela Bay • Our community. Our voice. Our future.
Sibanye Is Officially Registered
Sibanye (We Are One) has officially been registered as a political party. This is not the end of our journey. It is the beginning of our responsibility to listen to communities, represent their priorities and build a political organisation that remains connected to the people.
We Are One
Sibanye is built around a simple principle: people must come first.
Sibanye (We Are One) is an officially registered political party rooted in the belief that government should listen to the people it serves.
We believe residents should have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives — from basic services and infrastructure to economic opportunities, community safety and accountable governance.
Our role is not simply to speak. Our role is to listen, understand, represent and act.
We want to build a political culture where residents are not only approached during elections, but are continuously heard and included in the conversations that shape their communities.
We listen to the people so their priorities can be represented.
Sibanye is a platform through which residents can raise concerns, share ideas and communicate the issues that matter most to them.
We Are the Voice That Listens
Sibanye exists to strengthen the connection between residents and the institutions responsible for serving them.
Listen
We listen to residents, communities, workers, young people, entrepreneurs and families to understand the challenges they experience.
Understand
We seek to understand the real causes of local problems rather than simply reacting to symptoms or making promises.
Represent
We take the priorities and concerns of residents into the political and democratic processes where decisions are made.
Hold Accountable
We believe residents deserve transparency, measurable commitments and accountability from those entrusted with public responsibility.
Politics Must Serve People
We believe political representation should be connected to the everyday realities of residents.
People First
The needs, dignity and aspirations of residents must remain at the centre of political representation.
Listen Before Acting
Good leadership begins by understanding the people and communities affected by decisions.
Accountable Leadership
Public representatives must remain answerable to the people they represent.
Practical Solutions
We believe communities need practical solutions, responsible planning and measurable progress.
What Matters to Our Communities
Our priorities are grounded in the issues residents experience in their everyday lives.
Water & Basic Services
Reliable water, sanitation, refuse collection and essential municipal services.
Roads & Infrastructure
Better maintenance of roads, public infrastructure and essential community facilities.
Jobs & Local Enterprise
Supporting local businesses, entrepreneurship, skills development and opportunities for young people.

Creating stronger opportunities for residents to raise concerns, contribute ideas and participate in local democratic processes.
Listen. Represent. Act. Account.
This is the relationship we want to build with residents.
Listen
Hear directly from residents and communities.
Represent
Carry community priorities into the democratic process.
Act
Push for practical solutions and responsible implementation.
Account
Report back to residents and demand accountability.
